Solar Installation Process Overview

1. Initial Contact

  • Inquiry: The process begins when the customer reaches out via our website, telephone, email or through recommendation to express interest in solar installation.

2. Consultation

  • Site Assessment: A solar consultant will conduct an on-site evaluation of the property to assess roof conditions, shading, and the existing electrical system.
  • Energy Needs Analysis: We will discuss the customer’s energy consumption patterns and objectives to tailor a suitable solar solution.

3. Proposal and Quotation

  • System Design: Following the assessment, we will create a customized solar system design based on the customer’s specific needs.
  • Quotation Issuance: A detailed quotation will be provided, outlining system specifications, associated costs, and projected savings.

4. Deposit Payment

  • Confirmation of Agreement: Upon acceptance of the quotation, a deposit of approximately 10% of the total project cost will be required to secure the installation schedule.
  • Insurance Protection: All deposits are insured through the IWA (Insurance Backed Guarantee Scheme), providing customers with peace of mind regarding their investment.

5. DNO Permissions and Approvals

  • G98 or G99 Permissions: Our team will submit the necessary applications for permits and approvals to local authorities.
  • Utility Interconnection: We will also handle the application for interconnection with the local utility provider.
